In 1970 Fiorenzo Fallani was called by Prof. Umbro Apollonio, the director of the XXXV Venice International Art Biennale to fulfill the role as technical director of the Experimental Laboratory installed in the Italian Pavilion where he remained for the duration of the event.

In this laboratory, during each step of the production there was a strong collaboration with the artists, from the drawing up of the frames to the mixture of colors and the first impressions on paper, which were hanged inside the laboratory to show the proceedings and the results. Artists participating to these laboratory are Fernando De Filippi, Paolo Dorazio, Giorgio Fabbris, Alfonso Huppi, Andej Jemec, Riccardo Licata, Carlo Lorenzetti, Fabrizio Plessi, Elio Mariani.

From that moment his laboratory was to be frequented by national and international artists such as Emilio Vedova, Giuseppe Santomaso, Gianni Dova, Mario Schifano, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Salvatore Fiume, Aligi Sassu, Renato Guttuso, Carlo Guarlenti, Virgilio Guidi, Bruno Saetti, Mauro Reggiani, Mimmo Rotella, Hans Ricter, Max Bill, Joe Tilson, Alice Aycock, Janez Bernik, Joze Ciuha, Hsiao Chin, Harold Stivenson, Leonardo Cremonini.
