Marta Sforni is a painter who, after a long stay in Berlin, now lives and works in Venice: the representation of glass and specifically of the 18th century Venetian chandelier have for years been a place of investigation for the artist who has elevated it to an iconic object of his artistic research.
He has been collaborating with Gianpaolo Fallani's print shop since 2022 for his graphic research where, thanks to the assistance of the master, he produced a limited edition screen print in 4 colours:lieve.
One of her paintings was included in the exhibition Italian Painting Today, 2023, curated by Damiano Gulli at the Milan Triennale. She has exhibited in numerous galleries and public spaces in Italy and abroad. Her paintings are part of the Farnesina collection in Rome and of the Italian Embassy in Berlin and of the Timo Miettinen collection in Berlin/ Helsinki.
