"This work talks about freedom. The flight of the seagulls that populate the skies of Venice. These large white figures, intersecting the blue sky, come directly from my childhood memories. Sunny days spent on boats, in the various Venetian shallows, watching the sky with the nose up, spreading the arms wide to see whole flocks instantly take off, drawing perfect geometries in the sky."
