Marhaba (“benvenuti”), deriva dalla parola “rahhaba” che significa “accogliere”.
Arabic word used to welcome any loved one who shows up on our doorstep and welcomes them home.
This project aims to represent a geometrically and colourfully rich façade of an architecturally Arabic house with an open door, which I glimpsed through my unconscious in a dream.
The geometric motif used has a reference to religion, the five-pointed stars that accompany the work represent the five pillars in Islam.
