Marco Minto

Born in Venice on December 11, 1993, after his economic studies he entered the world of consulting, which often took him far from his hometown.
City that he rediscovers together with his artistic vein on the first lockdown that forces him to return to the house of his grandfather, who had died a few years earlier, in the Dorsoduro artistic district. Here he finds in the cellar a white canvaa built by his ancestor accompanied by acrylic paints that were out of production. He then decided to emulate the gestures of his grandfather, whom he accompanied at an early age during painting sessions, by climbing into the Altana (typical venice terrace) and actually making his first canvas, letting himself be enchanted by the charm of the city around him.
This realization, donated to a charity auction, was quite successful, effectively sanctioning the beginning of Marco's artistic activity, characterized by a strong expressive vivacity that comes to life in the simplicity of its forms and colors.
Marco claims to translate through brushes and palette the love for the city transmitted by that painting-loving grandfather who, by a twist of fate, bore the same name, surname and was born in the same month on the same day.
To his surprise and disbelief, the work was greatly appreciated by the public, and so Marco found himself continuing this accidental passionate adventure and continuing to paint his beautiful Venice with curiosity, playfulness, and meticulousness.
Within months Marco's iconic canvases appeared hanging on the walls of a gallery, adapted as graphics for one of the world's most famous lighters to represent Venice in a capsule collection, used didactically to take an elementary school class on a discovery of the city, and transported through the canals of the lagoon to support Venezia Fc in an international profile interview for the BBC.
