This is Tomorrow
The Project "This is Tomorrow", curated by Luca Massimo Barbero, celebrates Generali's 190 years of history through six posters created by young emerging Italian and international artists. In collaboration with renowned illustrators, the project compares the works of the great poster artists of the past with those of new artists, who interpret key themes and values for the Group, to tell the story of the future that stems from the present by evolving from its roots.
The main aim of the project is to reinterpret values and themes that are dear to Generali and linked to the Group's commitment to sustainability: from protecting the climate and biodiversity to caring for communities - also through the work of The Human Safety Net Foundation -, from the relationship between generations to that with technology, and the ambition to be a Partner in Life for customers.
From each of the six posters, a silkscreen print was created by Gianpaolo Fallani and printed by Fallani Venezia. The silkscreens are in a limited edition of 100 copies collected in a special box.
The artists who created the six works are:
Alëna Skarina, Canada / Russia
Max Guther, Germania
Elena Xausa, Italia
Gérard DuBois, Francia
Craig & Karl, Regno Unito / USA
Tim Lahan, USA
